At our last design meeting with Pierre back in November, he cited the column detail at Bodega as a good precedent for our project’s column problem (too big, too many, too weird placement, you know how it goes). Incidentally, we managed to find an even better detail right next door at Aladin, where column meets stair meets mezzanine meets balustrade. Methinks Pierre should try having less pasta and more hummus.
